Sprouts 3 opened this winter to welcome more toddlers. Teachers set up learning centers and prepared hands-on activities. Every classroom also built a Science Fair project, from magnetic mysteries to color explosions, and families toured the results.
Families who enroll between September 21 and October 28, 2026 receive their third month of care free. The offer applies to new families joining Bloomingdale Day Care. Enrollment covers ages six weeks to thirteen years, with the P. L. A. Y. S. approach. Summer Camp is officially underway at Bloomingdale Day Care. July kicked off the season and the children came in with energy to spare. Camp runs for ages five through thirteen, with days that mix play, projects, and time outdoors. Space and weekly rates vary, so call the office to ask what weeks are still open and what to pack.
A classroom day usually moves in blocks: arrival and free play, a group meeting, interest areas, snack, outdoor time, lunch, rest, and afternoon activity. Toddlers drift between pretend play and building. Preschoolers spend longer at one task and start planning it out loud.
You notice it at home. Your child stacks blocks with more care, tells you what happened in order, and reaches for a friend's hand without being asked. Those small shifts come from practice, repeated daily in a room set up for it.
